Complete Dorsal Carpo-Metacarpal Spatular Dislocation: A Case Report

Carpo-metacarpal dislocations are rare traumatic injuries resulting from violent trauma; they mostly observed in young subjects. The spatular form is often accompanied by metacarpal fractures. We report a clinical case of complete dorsal carpo-metacarpal dislocation. This was 34-year-old patient, admitted for closed trauma the right hand, whom examination noted edema hand. radiological workup showed dislocation associated with fracture base 2nd metacarpal. reduction these lesions focus followed stabilization broaching an intermetacarpal transverse broach done under scopic control emergency. Functional rehabilitation started 3rd week. broaches were ablated at 6th functional result 3 months satisfying good muscle strength. Resumption work effective 8 weeks. injuries, unrecognized, especially polytrauma patients, and have prognosis if managed correctly
